Therapeutic Massages

We have a massage therapist in our office. She is trained in Swedish, Sports, Deep tissue, Shiatsu, Prenatal and Hot Stone massages.

All massages are good for “letting-go” the cares and stress of the day, allowing the immune system to function more optimally.

Swedish massage:
This is a relaxing shallow tissue massage for stimulating and cleansing the body. This technique offers a tranquil, calming and soothing experience for the mind, body and spirit.
Deep Tissue massage:
This technique is ideal for anyone with deep or chronic muscle tension — for people who are experiencing a lot of stress or are overworked from their job or sports related workouts.
Hot Stones:
A warm, peaceful and comforting massage experience.  Ideal for those fatigued by the day-to-day grind that often taxes the mind, body and spirit!
PreNatal:
This massage gives mom the “babying” she deserves.  It’s directed towards relaxing and relieving the stress of expectant mothers.

Body Wraps

Are you looking for an all-natural way to enhance and moisten your skin? Want to decrease excess water weight from your body in a matter of hours? Then a body wrap might be exactly what you are looking for.

Body wraps are designed to improve the texture and appearance of the skin by helping to rid the body of excess fluids and toxins. The benefits of body wraps may include body contouring, detoxification, boosting of the lymphatic system and metabolism, inch loss, skin tightening, and skin softening.

How are body wraps performed?

People undergoing body wrap treatments typically have their torso, legs, arms, and neck wrapped with elastic cloths followed by a 30 minute session in our infrared sauna. The elastic cloths absorb and help remove excess body fluids and toxins. The cloths are wrapped snugly (though not too tightly), creating a thermal blanket that promotes sweating and aids in the shedding of unnecessary interstitial fluid (fluid located between the small spaces of body tissues).

Raindrop Technique ®

The Raindrop Technique, developed by D. Gary Young, N.D. and a Lakota medicine man almost two decades ago, uses a sequence of nine highly immune enhancing essential oils. They are dropped like rain from a height of about 6 inches onto the spine and then lightly massaged in using various hand to body techniques. This stimulates energy impulses and disperses the oils along the nervous system throughout the entire body.

We all carry immune system depleting viruses and bacteria. Essential oils applied to the spinal column are absorbed through the nerves that feed the entire body. Wonderfully soothing, nurturing and relaxing, the Raindrop Technique® can work its benefits in the body for days, weeks or months. With essential oils applied via the Raindrop Technique, the body can be brought into balance and the energy centers can be cleared and re-aligned. The Raindrop Technique® also helps reduce spinal inflammation, creates an inhospitable environment for the viruses that hibernate along the spinal column, and may help to straighten any spinal curvatures. Although a session lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, the oils will continue to work in the body for a minimum of a week following the treatment.
